Presentation of the event

In 2024, the team from the Laboratoire sur les Vulnérabilités et l'Innovation dans le Sport (L-VIS, EA 7428) and the Unité de Formation et de Recherche en Sciences et Techniques des Activités Physiques et Sportives (UFR-STAPS) at the University of Lyon 1 are organizing the Journées d'études/ateliers de la Société Française de Psychologie du Sport (SFPS, https://www.sfpsport.fr/) from May 22 to 24, 2024, on the theme of "Interventions et Recherches en Psychologie du Sport en France et en Europe".

The 1st day will feature a lecture by Maurizio Bertollo, followed by study days with presentations of the research work of laboratory-affiliated participants.

Day 2 will focus on exchanges of practice between sport psychology professionals and teacher-researchers, through a series of practical workshops.
The day's workshops will begin with a talk by Pauline Auffret on "Psychology in elite sport: a look back at the genesis of an open professional market", researcher at the University of Nantes.

This will be followed by a presentation of the contents of the European Erasmus project EUROMENTAL, which aims to co-construct a European training course in Psychology applied to Sport (2021-2024) for students, coaches, mental trainers and sport psychologists (with the universities of Extremadura, Spain; Claude Bernard Lyon 1, France; Gdańsk, Poland, Karlstad, Sweden; Humboldt Berlin, Germany, and Chieti, Italy.

Finally, the 3rd day will focus on the research projects of the Priority Sport Research Plan. The aim is to report on fundamental and applied research carried out in the world of sport.
