PARTICIPANTS' COMMITMENT TO INCLUSION AND NON-DISCRIMINATION AT THE FRENCH SOCIETY OF SPORT PSYCHOLOGY STUDY DAYS

As participants in the Study Days of the French Society of Sport Psychology Lyon 2024 (SFPS), we are firmly committed to promoting inclusion, fighting against all forms of discrimination and violence, and contributing to the creation of a safe, respectful and welcoming environment for all participants.

We recognize that scientific events can be influenced by power relations and can become spaces where violence (sexist, racist, classist, sexual, etc.) manifests itself. We are aware that sexist and/or discriminatory behaviour is not only illegal under the penal code, but is also contrary to professional, academic and ethical standards.

By signing this charter, we commit to :
1. Not to make any discriminatory or violent remarks, either during formal exchanges or at side events such as lunches and parties.
2. Be aware of and respect other participants, avoiding linguistic violence such as monopolizing speaking time or undermining colleagues' opinions during communication sessions.
3. Use our voice and position to promote inclusion, equality and mutual respect within the professional community.
4. Report any cases of discrimination or violence directly to the contacts designated by the organizing committee.

We are aware that SFPS will provide a listening and guidance service if necessary during the Lyon SFPS Study Days. We encourage you to make use of these resources if necessary, and to contact the resource persons before or after the congress, at the following coordinates:
Élise Marsollier elisemarsollier@gmail.com - Stéphanie Mériaux, stephanie.meriaux@univ-cotedazur.fr

If we are victims or witnesses of sexist and/or sexual violence, discrimination or harassment, we are also invited to file a report on the https://signalement.univ-lyon1.fr platform. A listening ear and support will be offered.

By signing this charter, I pledge, ................................................................, to contribute to making our professional community more egalitarian, inclusive and free from discrimination and violence. Together, we are creating an environment where everyone can flourish, share and learn in respect and diversity.
